Hidalgo

In 2014, we carried out a comprehensive sustainable development project in Hidalgo with SEMARNAT. The work involved the installation of 106 rainwater harvesting systems and 106 bio-filters for greywater in rural housing, with 2 more installed in schools. While Isla Urbana began this work, the Biobolsa project installed 50 biodigesters in the communities themselves, while ConcentrArteAC carried out an impressive array of workshops, environmental education and leisure activities in collaboration with Casa Verde, Dr. Stein, Difusión Cultural UNAM, Artolution, Zekuollaz, and several more.
